Jyoti's Involvement

Holy Himalaya Group is a collection of Jyoti and Asha's lifelong work, all of which are active today.

One of Jyoti's first enterprises, Holy Himalaya Eco Trek (formerly Eco Trek) is Nepal's premier trekking and tour operator, establishing and coordinating trips all over South Asia since 1992.

First opened in 2007, HHH was created with the intention of filling gaps in hospitality identified over a decade in tourism. Since, Holy Himalaya has continually raised and set the standards of hygiene, amenity provision and food quality in Nepali hotels, beginning by providing basic things like bottled water in rooms.

Tiny Seeds Preschool

What began as Jyoti's desire to directly contribute to his neighbourhood in Kathmandu,was realized with the help of a group of career teacher friends from Telluride, Colorado. Early childhood education received little focus, and the initiative responded to a pressing need. Tiny Seeds' success has since helped spark the growth of hundreds of preschools following similar educational models.

Montari Sky Camp

Located on a private hill in Jyoti's village of Phulkharka, Montari Skycamp is a hideaway reached most memorably by helicopter. From paragliding and parasailing to peaceful walks leading to celebrated waterfalls, Montari offers a unique balance of adventure and stillness.

Montari Coffee

Founded as a job creation initiative, Montari Coffee is grown in optimal altitudes for producing top-tier, exclusively roasted beans, available in limited quantities and premium offerings.

Film Himalaya

Creating short films, documentaries, and photography that capture overlooked perspectives and authentic stories, Film Himalaya presents Nepal as seen through the lens of those who call it home.
